Contare è un’abilità molto importante che si usa in molte situazioni, come contare gli oggetti, il denaro, il tempo e altro ancora. È anche una base dell’aritmetica, che è una branca della matematica che si occupa di addizioni, sottrazioni, moltiplicazioni e divisioni con i numeri.
Vocabolario dei Numeri in Inglese
Come contare da 1 a 10 in inglese
Useremo il sistema decimale, che si basa sul numero 10. Ciò significa che raggrupperemo i numeri da 1 a 10. Iniziamo dai primi dieci numeri, da 1 a 10. Ricordati di ripetere dopo di me. Sono:

Ora proviamo da 20 a 99!
Da 20 a 90, i numeri terminano con “-ty“, che suona come “tee”. Ciò è dovuto al fatto che questi numeri si formano moltiplicando 10 per i numeri da 2 a 9. Ad esempio, 20 è 2 x 10, quindi si dice “twenty”. 30 è 3 x 10, quindi si dice “thirty”. E così via.

Che ne dite di contare da 100 a 999?
Molto bene! Per formare il numero 100, usiamo la parola “hundred“. 100 è 10 x 10, quindi diciamo “one hundred”. Possiamo usare la parola “hundred” anche per formare i numeri da 101 a 999, combinandola con i numeri da 1 a 9, usando la parola “and”.
